Free Fall Motion Experiment
A physics virtual experiment of free fall motion.
PRINCIPLE
Drop a metal ball from an elevation and then measure the time taken by the ball to reach the ground.
This experiment is to prove this equation :
g = 2h/t²
g : gravity acceleration
h : elevation
t : time
Repeat the experiment several times to get % error.
INSTRUMENT
Electromagnet generator : Give electromagnet force to the holder to hold the metal ball.
Digital timer : Measure the time taken by the ball from the start to the ground.
Switch : Suddenly cut off the electromagnet force and also start the digital timer.
Ground : Suddenly stop the timer once the ball hits it.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Click GUIDE to show guides.
- Drag ( up-down ) the ball holder to make custom elevation.
- Click the switch to begin the experiment.
- Click RESTART to repeat.
